Another year for the books; another for which we’re so grateful.

Here’s to the good that found you in 2018. Here’s to 2019 and all of its hopes, cares and joys.

Zach & Sara — At Their Home

Man alive… Zach & Sara.

These two wonderful humans managed to find that unique and rare balance somewhere between a day chock-full of personal, thoughtful details and a “we don’t care too much, we just want to get married” mentality. They put up a tent, set up some chairs in an adjacent field, prepared for the day in their home, and shared a pre-ceremony prayer at Zach’s folks’ place, nearby. Then, Heather from Heart & Soul Floral added some just-right floral (probably some of the most perfectly-fitting floral I’ve seen), and Zach & Sara’s vision came to life in a true team effort smack-dab in the middle of a timely break between storms.

It was just the best, and hopefully these photographs – paired with a tune… be sure to push play – portray their day well.

A handful of Zach & Sara’s engagement portraits can be seen right here.

Bennet & Hilary — An Autumn Classic

Planning for an autumn wedding in the midwest: trying a year ahead of time to pinpoint the perfect two- or three-week stretch so as to take advantage of perfect weather and seasonal colors, all while evading potential 90-degree temperatures on one end and snow on the other. Quite a conundrum, it can be.

But Bennet and Hilary nailed it. Colors were at their peak and while rain showers rolled in that evening, daytime weather was ideal. Oh, and they chose to wrap the evening with a waffle bar, sooo…
